Mental health during quarantine

Needless to say, this pandemic affects us all; we have had to adapt to different ways of functioning, from how we work to how we interact with people. Therefore, below are some tips on how to protect ourselves mentally during this difficult time and cope with it in the best way possible, psychologically speaking:

  • Take regular breaks and try doing something new at home with your loved ones.
  • Shower and get dressed as you would on any normal day.
  • Set schedules and limits for performing your work-related duties.
  • Connect with friends and acquaintances through video calls or phone calls; this allows us to continue communicating and not lose touch.
  • Take at least 15 minutes of your time each day to meditate and clear your mind. This helps us to relax for a moment and enables us to deal with this crisis in a better way.
