Country Manager, Chile | Industrial Water Treatment Solutions

At Wiseplan, we are looking for a Country Manager for Chile for a company that specializes in solutions for the chemical treatment and conditioning of water in industrial processes.

The main challenge of this position will be to take charge of operations in Chile, strengthen relationships with current clients, and develop new business opportunities in industrial markets, reporting directly to the company’s regional leadership.

We are looking for a senior candidate with a solid sales track record in technical or manufacturing industries, a background in the industrial sector, and the ability to lead a local operation with a focus on business development.

The job posting is open to professionals residing in any city in Chile. It appears in Santiago only due to the platform's settings.

The position involves a combination of remote work and field work, with a willingness to travel within the country.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the company's operations in Chile, in coordination with the regional organization.

• Consolidate the current portfolio and develop new opportunities with industrial clients.

• Help define business priorities for the Chilean market.

• Lead the local team, which consists primarily of technical and field service professionals.

• Coordinate local business operations, with external support in administrative areas.

• Report on progress, results, opportunities, and market needs to the regional leadership.

Desired Profile

Disqualifying Requirements

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Civil Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field in the industrial sector.

• Senior sales experience in industrial, technical, or manufacturing markets.

• Experience in business development, strategic account management, and commercial expansion with industrial clients.

• Technical foundation for understanding plant processes, water treatment, industrial chemicals, or related solutions.

Experience in the following areas will be particularly valued:

• Water treatment, chemical conditioning, RILES, industrial chemicals, or services for manufacturing plants.

• Development of commercial networks in industries such as food and beverages, mining, pulp and paper, energy, refining, chemicals, manufacturing, steel, and metallurgy.

• Leadership of technical, sales, or service teams.

• Reporting to and coordinating with regional or international organizations.

• Advanced English.
